Job Position 7132 Layout-Machine Shop/Workcell B

Starting rate of pay $30.08

CNC and manual Mill/Drill Operator Position wanted. Opening is for dayshift 7:00am-3:30pm.

The following statements describe the daily duties required for this position:

·       Select appropriate cutters, speeds, and fixturing on short run jobs.

·       Uses reference data, basic geometry, and or basic trigonometry to determine hole spacings. May also utilize templates.

·       Burr, clean and protect machined parts as required.

·       Inspects and gages own work in process.

·       Responsible for quality and efficiency of work performed.

To qualify the candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience performing machine set-up and operation of manual and CNC mills and drills. The candidate must also be proficient in blueprint reading and have the ability to utilize machine shop measuring instruments including but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, thread gages, etc.  The successful candidate must have own hand tools.
