Community Leadership Academy (CLA) is seeking a talented and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our team. We’re a public charter school serving a vibrant, diverse community—and we’ve maintained a top performance rating for over a decade. Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $56,000–$65,000 (based on experience and education)
• $2,000 sign-on bonus

Your Day-to-Day

As an elementary teacher at CLA, you’ll:

• Create and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons across content areas using high-quality curriculum like Into Reading, Eureka Math, and Core Knowledge
• Build a classroom environment where students feel safe, respected, and challenged
• Use formative assessments and real-time data to guide instruction and re-teach when needed
• Support all learners through thoughtful differentiation and collaboration with specialists
• Reinforce a strong school culture with consistent routines, clear expectations, and positive reinforcement
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress, behavior, and achievements
• Embrace feedback and grow your practice through coaching and collaboration

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• One of the following in elementary education:
  • Colorado teaching license or endorsement
  • 36 credit hours in content
  • Passing score on approved Praxis exams
• 45-hours Colorado READ Act training (for grades K-3 positions)
• Prior experience working with elementary-aged students strongly preferred
