What will you do?
Our US Digital Buildings System Architects are the trusted technical experts to create and apply innovative solutions by combining the latest technologies with our EcoStruxure offer to help drive sales and deliver long-term business value to our Customers. The mission of this segment specific System Architect will be to focus on providing expertise within the Life Sciences segment through Sales Enablement and Technical Competence.
- Sales Enablement – Contribute to sales pursuits by creating and promoting the business value of our solutions along with building credibility with customers to inspire, inform, transform and support business objectives.
- Successful Project Execution – Architect solutions which are robust, scalable, innovative, supported, and are aligned to the commercial and/or account strategy. Provide the technical validation, risk management, and technical governance for all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Technical Competence - Strong desire for continual learning and improvement, sharing best practices, drive organizational knowledge transfer to assist in the pre-sales role, and oversee the project through execution phases.
- Life Science Competence - Strong understanding of Life Science facility applications , have a good understanding of the requirements to deliver a GxP validated solution and be able to created technical documents.

Who will you report to?
- This position reports to the Manager, US Systems Architects
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Experience as a leader in Systems Architecture in the design and/or consulting background
- At least 5+ year’s experience in specific domains (BMS, Security, Lighting, and Room Automation)
- At least 3+ year’s experience in project execution and systems deployment
- Have experience of working in a regulated industry.
- Experience in System Architect Methodology
- Deep understanding of the technical functionality of EcoStruxure Building Operations and associated EcoStruxure technology:
- EcoStruxure System Software
- Software Programing (Script, FB)
- IT Networking & Enterprise IT Architecture Experience
- Communication Protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LON)
- Cloud Computing and Virtualization & Deep Windows Operating System as well as Active Directory Knowledge
- Integration concepts and methodologies (OT to IoT; IT to OT; ETL)
- Secure architectures and Cybersecurity methods, processes, and tools
- Strong business acumen and experience of competitors systems
- Demonstrate technical competence, personal development, and desire for continual learning and improvement in high profile opportunities
- Required to be highly adaptable and able to effectively handle several projects and support requests working in proactive mode as necessary
- Take and manage risk with a sense of accountability
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver technical presentation to customers
- Strong communication, listening, problem-solving, sharing talents, resources, and know-how, influence and convince, collaboration, and seeking win-win situations and opportunities
