Your Job
To growth market share, managing profitability within the assigned core accounts. Responsible for preparing and/or implementing financial and non-financial plans in support of reaching account objectives. Develop & maintain strategic relationships to increase penetration and share position within the assigned account(s).
What You Will Do
1. Manages strategic and tactical activities within assigned accounts. Identifies and addresses with management gaps and overlaps in resources and/or issues to support accounts per account plan
2. Identify the Total Available Market (TAM), Serviceable Available Market (SAM), Molex Share, Competition, and the CAGR
3. Analyse the gap in TAM/SAM/Share within the assigned accounts. Understand the accounts and competition landscape e.g. competitive strengths, weaknesses, etc. Develop account penetration/growth strategy and plan
4. Identify the ecosystem, the dynamics, the technology roadmaps, the application trends, the competition, the customer needs/requirements; and develop a clear roadmap (1-3 years down the road)
5. Builds a strong relationship within account to achieve customer fellowship and operational excellence
6. Drive the design activities and grow CRM pipeline and revenue. Resolve and escalate if necessary, any issues identified as bottlenecks
7. Execute the account business plan including the Salesforce pipeline activities
8. Prepare operational reports to track and communicate status of goals (e.g. forecasting, new identifying business opportunities, and implementing program status)
9. Maintain expert knowledge about account(s) key financial metrics that affects their market position
10. Serve as the industry expert and communicate the products and applications and opportunities with management and product divisions. Identify new future products and supports/sponsors the development of these new products across accounts.
11. Understand / communicate and potentially conducts research to analyse competitive position, market trends, and technological direction at the account(s). Keeps the organization informed of trends, opportunities, and needs on the accounts.
12. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
13. Travel to customers as needed.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- *Formal electronics qualification (Bachelor degree or above)
*3+ years sales/marketing experience in electronics and or connector industry
- To understand business issues and trends, that may impact the account’s success.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively work with co-workers and external contacts to effectively build relationships, respond positively to situations, and influence others.
- Effective written and oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express ideas, exchange information clearly and concisely, and conduct effective presentations and delivery of message that fit’s the audience (customers and Molex personnel).
- Foster teamwork to manage conflicts, promote creativity, and resolve issues.
- Organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize and self-monitor workload.
- Understand connector and cable production process or consumer device applications.
- Positive attitude in work & learning.
- Reliable, initiative, commitment and integrity
What Will Put You Ahead
· Previous experience power & automotive application with Cable harness applications a plus.
· Fluent English and Mandarin speaker and writer
