Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

Key Responsabilities:

  • Responsible for employee’s performance, development, engagement, discipline, etc.
  • Responsible for the performance of "standard work" within his or her sector or department. 
  • Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
  • Enforce compliance with quality system and proper appliance of the defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.
  • Optimize daily / weekly balance workload / resources (internal, external storage and freight capacities).
  • Adjust MPH (Material Providing and Handling) programs according to customer priorities in the ad-hoc systems (LDS, DISS, …).
  • Ensure management of the logistics process receiving goods > stocking > picking > Material handling > shipping finished goods and wastes.
  • Lead the SIM loop 2 with appropriated indicators & action plan and ensure the compliance with SPS of the SIM 1.
  • Organize the training needs of teams and manage the versatility in accordance with the target defined.
  • Synchronize support function actors on short term actions.
  • Manage warehouse processes performance and his team according to SPS / SIM rules and cycle event of the plant.
  • Ensure inventories accuracy
  • Guarantee that service level, quality environment, process lead time, maintenance & productivity goals are reached.
  • Manage the yearly appraisal* of all DVC inside the sector.
  • Monitor and analyse logistic costs.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Engineering, others.
    • Ability to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to conclusions based on the findings
    • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to make independent decisions with little supervision
    • Ability to proactively seek out information, training, and other resources needed to facilitate continual professional development necessary to be successful in this position
    • Partner, influence, collaborate & communicate across the enterprise and with the relationships built outside
    • Independently solve problems and make decisions for primary and strategic execution and tactical issues within the relevant portfolio of projects and or processes.
    • Work within peer group and leadership infrastructure to ensure that best practice and opportunities are delivered.

    • Strong verbal / presentation and written communications skills working in a complex organization.
    • Basic English
    • Experience with SAP is a must 
    • Leadership 
    • Proficiency user of Microsoft Office
