Vactor is currently seeking an Intern in our Credit Department for the summer of 2025. This is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience while applying what you have learned in school.  These internships typically run from May through August.  

Position Requirements:

  • College student, preferably in junior or senior year of college pursuing a finance degree.
  • Financial Statement Review
  • Reviewing Credit Applications and verifying Bank & Trade References.
  • Reviewing Credit Reports
  • Setting up Customer Accounts (Pricing, how they get their invoice, verify information).
  • Exemption Certificates and Resale Certificates (Vertex System)
  • Introduction to Sales Tax (Rates and Amount to charge based upon delivery of equipment and exemption status)
  • MSO (Titles)
  • Insurance Certificates (Coverage Amounts, Due Dates, Additional Named Insured and Loss Payee)
  • Customer Facing Duties (emails, phone calls, etc.)
  • Navistar Audits
  • Working as part of a Team
  • Switchboard Coverage

Salary Range for this position: $15-$17 per hour
