The Role: Associate Producer

 

At EA, Producers are the creative visionaries for the product. They are the individuals who build and motivate teams to accomplish their goals of shipping AAA quality titles on time and on budget.

 

What an Associate Producer Does At EA:

As an Associate Producer on Madden, you will use your understanding and passion for the game to add to the creative execution and business success of the game team.   You support the project schedule and help to move the game from one project phase to the next while focusing on quality, collaboration and communication.  Demonstrate ‘what good looks like’ when it comes to soft skills.

 

To be successful candidate for this role, you need to be great at the following:

 

Leadership abilities:

 

  • Work with designers to execute the design vision of the game.
  • Coordinate with other team leads ((Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, etc) to ensure information flow between disciplines.
  • Communicate game design vision clearly and concisely with the team.
  • Inspire the team through progressive, creative design and leadership.
  • Manage and maintain all design aspects through entire project life cycle.
  • Research and communicate on industry trends including: new game genres, new game design methods and emerging platforms.

 

Live Production Abilities:

  • Adept at handling a changing production environment, often in the moment, making quick decisions while balancing risk, schedule, budget and quality
  • Have on set experience, know and demonstrate ‘what good looks like’ for on-set etiquette, understand production principles and paperwork
  • Experience with custom tools/software and have a demonstrable proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Have planned complex and logistics for both people and equipment
  • Organized and wrangled casting, talent bookings, talent needs on set, and complete talent agreements / payroll paperwork.
  • Willing and able to travel for work

 

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Producer or Designer working with internal teams within the video game industry and creating top quality games
  • Strong MADDEN product knowledge and passion to work on a highly competitive sports franchise. (Please indicate this when you apply).
  • Ability to work closely with a large team through all phases of the product development process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with maturity and leadership
