Manage all HR disciplines reporting through area of responsibility; leverage best practice(s) to maximize organizational efficiencies and minimize waste of resources (time, people, money).
Responsible for HR policies, processes and/or programs (and maintenance thereof) designed to drive compliance around labor activities, maximize human capital investment and minimize labor liabilities.
Collaborate with internal customers toward continuous improvement of HR service delivery including but not limited to Service Level Agreements, performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and periodic reporting of actual performance against targeted baseline objectives.
Execute departmental goals within area of responsibility in alignment with HR vision, mission and strategic initiatives. Assess HR strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats within area of responsibility and develop specific goals and action plans for achievement.
Lead alignment across HRIM, Compensation and Employee Support to drive optimization of HR technologies including the core HR system (GPS), applicant tracking system, learning management system(s), employee and manager self-service tools and interfaces to key Finance and time-keeping systems and activities.
Administer Global Employment Company per established guidelines; Partner with leadership in Tax, Cost Accounting and Legal to monitor program for changes or updates required to support locations where we conduct business.
Evaluate and build continuous service improvements to HR programs/processes and develop new ways for HR to seamlessly get great work done; act as a change agent to drive innovation and process improvements for our customers.
Actively participate in merger & acquisition activities of the organization including due diligence analysis, integration efforts around personnel of acquired entities and service level agreements for transferred personnel in divestiture activities.
Participate in internal investigations relating to compliance and reported ethics violations, depending on the content/topic, may act in the lead investigator role.
Ensuring the right people, structures, rewards, resources, and decision-making processes are in place; and structuring team dynamics to leverage synergy including role clarity, flow of information and communication frequency
Develop and motivate talent within area of responsibility through formal and informal performance feedback, coaching, face time opportunities, training and job enrichment opportunities.
Actively participate in community professional organizations to monitor industry and external markets for changes and trends. Keep up to date on changing HR trends and the compliance landscape and present market intelligence on these issues which may affect the Company’s core business in geographies where business is conducted.
