The Basics:
The Center of Excellence (COE) team operates across various business units (BUs), possessing advanced knowledge and expertise in each domain. Comprising highly skilled professionals, the COE disseminates knowledge, provides support to the Sales Team, and promotes best practices. The COE's main objective is to guide the Sales Team, ensuring effective management throughout the sales cycle.
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to support sales and deal related transactions through deploying global strategies and approaches. This position will also be crucial in getting the Commercial Operations to the next level of customer service excellence by continuing to foster a culture of change and greater sales enablement. Consistency and governance are key features of an effective COE Senior Analyst.
This is a hybrid position, which will require in person attendance several days each week in one of the following locations: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.
What you’ll do:
- Continuously identify process improvement and sales training opportunities in partnership with business partners and Sales leadership.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to implement and support self-service sales enablement for quote generation within established guidelines.
- Offer field-level assistance for troubleshooting quoting errors and other issues
- Collaborate closely with Sales Ops and Deal Desk to oversee renewal opportunity and quote generation processes.
- Lead pre-order booking review activities in SFDC and collaborate with Order Operations to ensure efficient processes and handoffs.
- Coordinate orders from Tanium alliance partners with the Channel team.
- Develop and deliver sales enablement tools such as Tidbits, Sharepoint and Thursday Trainings for new Sales hires
- Mentor junior level peers in day-to-day tasks
We’re looking for someone with:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years proven experience in sales support, deal management, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in driving change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ).

What you’ll get
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 to $180,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
