Essential Duties:

  • Customer/Dealer Problem Resolution
    • Interact with the dealer network and customers, and with the organization (engineering, manufacturing, marketing, etc.), to provide effective product support and problem resolution.
    • Provide technical evaluations of information to develop viable options to enhance the speed and quality of customer service and provide follow up to ensure resolution.
    • Manages telephone answering for optimum customer responsiveness.
    • Troubleshoot and repair via phone a wide variety of electrical, hydraulic and/or mechanical system discrepancies.
    • Provide accurate documentation of all customer contacts.
      • Daily utilization of case system
    • Read and interpret a variety of schematics and drawings while interfacing within the organization, vendors, and dealer/customers.
  • Warranty Administration
    • Assist in authorizing warranty claims, administering technical policy, and part returns.
  • Other
    • Performs other duties as assigned by service management.
    • Travel may be necessary up to 20% of the time to support Technicians and Field Service Specialist as necessary.
    • Assist in content of service-training programs.
    • Provide feedback on service-related issues to the Technical Information Manager and Quality department as needed. 
    • Provide assistance to training and technical publications activities as necessary.

 

 Minimum Qualifications (Education and/or Experience):

  1. College degree preferred.
  2. Technical Degree and technical electronics experience is a plus.    
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Excellent customer service skills.
  5. A minimum of three years of vehicle service experience, vehicle repair, fluid power, electronics or related technologies preferred.
  6. Demonstrated performance in the following areas preferred:
    1. Customer and dealer support
    2. Hydraulic, mechanical, and structural repair
    3. Vehicle and equipment maintenance
    4. System diagnostics and analysis
    5. Product training and education
    6. PLC controllers and CAN J1939 systems experience 

Salary Range for this position:  $70k-80k
