JOB SUMMARY
The iGen Operator is responsible for productivity of the iGen printer to include the cycle-time and quality of all print jobs set up for the iGen production. This
position is responsible for operator level preventative maintenance and spoilage. A high level of communication to department managers and Xerox support will
be required to ensure production goals are achieved.


KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains an accurate daily activity sheet. (Daily activity consists of: hourly sheets counts hours worked downtime and indirect hours). 5%
  • Supports other operational assignments as needed. 5%
  • Operates iGen printer responsible for productivity and quality of the printer. Responsible for cleaning and maintenance required by high frequency
  • service items diagnose and resolve image quality artifacts. Run diagnostics through press interface. Rebuild, replace and prep high pressure/high
  • temp fuser rolls. Adjust job properties (not color) to achieve desired results and all other tools learned in Xerox Training. Responsible for distributing
  • iGen jobs to printer per cycle time requirements runs CMT(color maintenance tool) and trouble shooting printer faults. 60%
  • Operates Epic UV Coater. Responsible for general operator maintenance troubleshooting and quality performance of the UV Coater. 10%
  • Performs quality checks on all runs. Produces shipping labels and stacks runs on cart. 5%
  • Maintains stock inventory and supplies. Shreds waste paper and maintains clean environment. Counts collates and weighs products for fulfillment.
  • Sends runs to packers and mailing area. 5%
  • Looks up orders. Clears and records run sheets and orders shipped. 5%
  • Coordinates (with Supervisor) on all other press activities to include: determining work flow scheduling printer down time. Scheduling service on the
  • iGen 4 with Xerox. 5%


EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED required

Xerox Certification Training will be provided


EXPERIENCE
Minimum one year experience on manufacturing floor Multi-skilled in a manufacturing team member role or other corresponding experience
Demonstrate leadership abilities


COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS
Work closely with others and alone.

Works with detailed instructions or where variation in procedures is limited.
