Senior Latam FX Trader, Vice President

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be someone that is passionate about markets and wants to join a high performing FX Principal Market Making Trading desk. The trader will be expected to take principal risk positions in accordance with the firm’s trading and markets risk guidelines. Traders are expected to be able to synthesize trading ideas and commentary from economic data, quantitative data, technical indicators, and research.  All members of the FX team are expected to work collaboratively with the Sales team and the eFX team to increase client interactions and grow revenues.

What you will be responsible for

As Senior Latam FX Trader you will

  • Drive our Latam FX Business, focusing on Andean Markets
  • Lead EM thought leadership on our Boston based FX Trading Desk
  • Partner with our FX Sales team to sustainably grow our client business
  • Provide continuous expert level market color and execution expertise externally and internally
  • Manage risk positions and PnL within proper market trading and credit risk guidelines
  • Grow market making revenues by expanding our client business and maximizing revenue opportunities

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BS degree, and appropriate experience in EM FX Trading
  • 5-10 years of Latam FX Trading experience on a market making desk
  • Evidence of continued learning
  • Strong Computer and Technology Skills

Salary Range:

$275,000 - $275,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
