POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the clinical mission of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences. Primary responsibilities including providing outpatient psychiatric care at USF Student Health Services and the USF Silver Child Development Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides outpatient clinical services at USF Student Health Services and the Silver Child Development Center including the diagnosis, care and treatment of mental and behavioral health conditions for adult, child and adolescent patients. Provides call coverage at Tampa General Hospital; Completes clinical documentation and other tasks as required

Resident, fellow and medical student supervision and teaching.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM:

Medical degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency training program and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training. Must meet university criteria for faculty appointment to the rank of assistant professor, associate or professor. Candidates must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license. This candidate must obtain credentialing with USF Health and Tampa General Hospital.
