Requires:

For the effective performance in this position the incumbent should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or a business related discipline and/or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.  Must pass PPG’s Supervisory Assessment. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, technology, purchasing, or technical service is required.   Experience in the following areas is beneficial: business process analysis & improvement, lean & six sigma, quality assurance, strategic sourcing, team facilitation, materials management, QAD, enterprise resource planning (ex. SAP), and cost reduction.  A high degree of professionalism, excellent communication and presentation skills are required.  Must have the ability to work with minimal direction.  Must be able to work with personnel in Sales, Marketing, and Business Managers.  Computer literacy in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project is desired. The ability to evaluate the industrial work environment is also a necessary skill.  He/she must be able to always convey a professional image both to internal PPG as well as with the customers and suppliers.  Must be able to travel up to 30%.
