Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join the Pinnacle Architectural Lighting Team in Denver, CO. The primary responsibility of the Marketing Assistant is to manage the literature and promotional piece fulfillment and inventory, sample orders, assist the Director of Marketing with product development and updates to price and technical data sheets, assist sales team with travel arrangements and agent management while playing a key role in the planning and organization of factory visits and events with the Marketing Communications Manager. This position will spend 75% of the time working with the marketing team and 25% with the sales team.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a Administrative role in an office environment

Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
  • Associates Degree preferred
  • PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) literacy is necessary and any of the Adobe Creative Suite programs a plus.
  • Experience in lighting and/or technology a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to juggle many tasks and deal with shifting priorities based on the schedule of events.
  • Ability to learn the basics of Pinnacle's collection of architectural grade lighting solutions and convey their value/​benefits.


Position Attributes

Main Activities:
  • Organization: Individual Contributor competency model
  • Main Interface: Internal - marketing, sales, human resources, engineering; External - vendors, sales rep agencies, suppliers, printers and related marketing services providers
  • Budget: Manages projects to established budget

Main Job Duties:
  • Sponsorships for Sales and execution for Marketing budget.
  • Manage in-house inventory levels for literature, samples and promotional items, restock as needed.
  • Document all incoming rep and sales requests for literature and input final ship date/tracking information into Literature Request Document.
  • Provide annual usage report by agent to Director of Marketing.
  • Assist team to complete all pricing and spec sheet updates.
  • Coordinate quarterly password changes for secured agent login.
  • Coordinate webinars, and teleconferences for product launches.
  • Coordinate all representative sample orders and manage delivery/tracking of each order for new product launches and any agent requests.
  • Responsible for setting up new agent representative hires, including contracts, samples, literature, website login and teleconference.
  • Organize quarterly agent reports for Sales.
  • Assist Marketing Specialist with organizing travel, hotels, houses, food, entertainment, etc.
  • Assist Marketing Specialist with set up, organizing office, completing and assembling of marketing material (i.e. labels, house packets, van packets, etc).
  • Assist Sales to make arrangements for incoming guests, including accommodations, food, entertainment, etc.
  • Assist Sales to update or modify existing presentations based on RSMs requirements.
  • Assist Project Marketing Managers with Pinn Points as necessary by compiling announcements and sending the internal email.
  • Maintain industry-level documents for monthly report-out to Director of Marketing.
  • Occasional Inside Sales support, including but not limited to general organization and filing.
