Job Description Summary
The Restaurant Server is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives covering the food service venues of the hotel. The Server sets-up, services, and breaks-down the food and beverage areas where they are assigned ensuring a high level of quality, consistency and service.Job Description
You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, delivering orders, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. You will work closely with the kitchen staff, management, and other servers to guarantee efficient operations and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist in seating them.
- Provide menu recommendations and offer information about the dishes.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Attend to special requests and needs of customers.
- ​Have a thorough understanding of the menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any allergens.
- Provide detailed explanations or descriptions of menu items as needed.
- Update menu knowledge regularly to answer customer queries effectively.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate and prompt delivery of orders.
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving.
- Ensure all special requests or modifications are communicated to the kitchen accurately.
- Set and maintain tables according to restaurant standards.
- Clean and reset tables for the next customers.
- Keep the server station and work areas tidy and organized.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Ensure the accuracy of checks and resolve any discrepancies in billing.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service.
- Communicate effectively with the team and management regarding customer feedback, issues, or concerns.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
