NBBJ is looking for talented and passionate students to fulfill internship roles in Boston, Columbus, Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an accredited, U.S.-based, higher education program and are planning to return to school in the Fall. 
This is an exciting role for anyone looking to further their experience in marketing and communications in the architecture industry. You will be a self-starter, highly motivated and adept at juggling deadlines. Working alongside Marketing Specialists and Marketing Managers, you will play a key role assisting teams for bid responses, supporting the development and maintenance of marketing collateral, helping to plan and execute client events, and gathering data and updating records. You will be detail oriented, adept at coordinating materials and have strong Adobe InDesign skills.
 
Core areas of responsibility include but not limited to:
  • Work with NBBJ Marketing team and pursuit teams in Seattle and across the firm
  • Help coordinate and produce proposal submissions for marketing prospects (written and graphic support)
  • Helping to ensure standard project and firm information is up to date and easily accessible
  • Helping to collect and enter accurate project data into databases (Deltek Vision, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and OpenAsset), including project and resume InDesign files
  • Provide support for miscellaneous marketing requests, conferences and event requests
Skills and Qualifications (required unless otherwise noted): 
  • Pursuing a degree or qualification in marketing, graphic design, journalism, communications or other relevant course of study
  • Able to take initiative and complete tasks efficiently, while managing multiple competing deadlines
  • Strong InDesign skills are a must
  • Strong writing and editing skills, essential for drafting copy for bids and proofreading
  • Knowledge of print and production processes
  • Strong attention to detail, layout and typography
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality
The hourly rate for this role is $25/hour.
