3D Systems seeks a talented Multi-Shift Supervisor to manage our 1st and 2nd shifts on a Monday through Friday schedule, guiding machine operators to meet production schedules with quality and an acute safety approach. This role has an onsite work schedule requiring the person to be in the onsite location 5 days a week.

What You Will Do
- Lead and integrate two shifts of 8 employees, implementing best practices and creating a cohesive team environment
- Train team members to recognize non-conformances, maintain strict adherence to PPE requirements, support 6S processes, and uphold workmanship standards
- Exercise autonomous decision-making and problem-solving skills, particularly during weekend operations when executive leadership is absent
- Coach and develop Team Leads to reach their full potential while ensuring all production standards for metal manufacturing are consistently met
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains while maintaining the highest quality standards for medical device components
- Create a positive work culture that emphasizes both individual accountability and teamwork, recognizing employee contributions and achievements
- Ensure proper use of respiratory protection (Full Face, Half Face, and/or powered air-purifying respirators) when team members perform tasks with metal powder exposure, coordinating fit testing and annual re-certification as provided by 3D Systems
What You Will Bring
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work with export-controlled products, as this position serves the Manufacturing Group which requires access to technical information from defense and aerospace customers
- Significant supervisory experience or proven leadership track record, preferably in a machine shop, medical device company, parts finishing business, or other relevant manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills with ability to manage, train, and motivate production teams across multiple shifts
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality standards, especially in regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience with safety protocols and PPE requirements in manufacturing settings
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, particularly in autonomous situations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build team cohesion across shifts
- Aptitude for continuous improvement and process optimization
- Ability to work a Monday through Friday schedule (five 8-hour shifts). Production demands will necessitate overtime as needed per the Operations Manager.
