Your Role As a HealthStreamer
Position Summary
The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation to support the Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HeathStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.

Writes, reviews, and updates information security procedures, policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure they are accurate, current, and meet HealthStream’s needs.

Follows Information Security best practices and guidelines.

Manages and maintains an inventory of all documentation, including archiving prior versions and current active documents.

Assists in drafting responses to risk assessments and Risk Committee(s) guidance.

Advises on the implementation of security controls, risk assessment frameworks, and programs that align to regulatory requirements, ensuring documented and sustainable compliance aligns and advances HealthStream objectives.

Brainstorms methods to communicate a range of content (e.g., training resources, policy changes) to a diverse audience of over 1,000 technical and non-technical users. Ensures materials meet regulatory, legal, and other compliance requirements.

Audits controls across multiple security compliance frameworks and regulations to foster adoption and identify gaps.

Reviews security controls, assesses implementation requirements, and integrates input from key stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Collaborates with subject matter experts to translate technical concepts into comprehensible content.

Meets with customers to provide documentation on security assessments.

Completes security questionnaires thoroughly and with integrity.

Manages multiple projects while meeting stated deadlines.
