Job Description

Shrink Wrap Operator:

  • Load shrink wrap material in proper orientation
  • Understand operating modes of Shrink Wrap and be able to troubleshoot when errors occur
  • Understand safety of the Shrink Wrap and know where emergency stops are located
  • Follow all quality processes to ensure there are no Critical Customer Errors
  • Remove work from the Shrink Wrap heat tunnel conveyor and sort onto the correct cart, depending on where the specific job type will process in post-print production
  • Deliver full carts of stacked work to correct post-print location
  • Perform end of shift duties and cleaning
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

Push cart weighing up to 100 lbs. Frequent lifting up to 15 lbs. Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.  The use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that of sedentary work. Consistently fingering and grasping. Position requires kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping. Ability to work standing and walking for 8 hours or more.
