JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Promote the sale of new and existing product lines through technical presentations.
  • Develop concept of Customer's needs through analysis of Customer's operations.
  • Assist sales personnel on sales calls to provide technical expertise.
  • Assist with technical training of sales and service personnel.
  • Summarize Customer needs and assist R&D personnel in qualification testing.
  • Assist QA personnel with subcontractor's technical related questions.
  • Develop technical promotion schedule for new and existing products.
  • Travel to field locations as necessary to assist engineers and support service operations.
  • Assist R&D Engineering in design, testing and qualification of existing and new products.
  • Manage Product development projects as Project Manager
  • Develop expertise on assigned products of VAM USA
  • Track product usage & profitability of assigned products
  • Build or revise Sales Kits as needed for assigned products (customize for US market)
  • Follow market trends and capture new market needs
  • Establish and maintain relationships with operator SME's.
  • Follow all applicable Company work instructions, procedures and specifications.
  • Follow all Company Rules, Procedures and Policies.
  • Follow all Company Safety Rules.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Technical Sales Manager or General Manager.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Preferred three years experience as a Product Application Engineer or Technical Sales
  • Thorough knowledge of API specifications.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work load and to meet deadlines.
  • Strong P.C. and data acquisition skills.
  • Must have valid drivers license and good driving record.
  • Must be available for local, long distance and overseas travel.
  • Ability to read, write and speak well in English.
  • Ability to understand and execute instructions well.
  • Must be able to pass applicable testing as required.
