As a valued Human Resources Business Partner, you will be an integral part of the Gatan HR team, supporting our U.S. operations and remote employees globally. Human Resources Business Partner Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR programs that address business challenges and contribute to significant long-term objectives.
  • Manage performance management processes by coaching managers on performance issues, clearly communicating performance expectations to employees, and supporting employee development.
  • Design, direct, and manage organizational development processes for the site, focusing on succession planning, key employee retention, workforce development, organizational design, and change management.
  • Oversee the talent acquisition process and recommend improvements to enhance the onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Collaborate with managers to drive employee training and development programs.
  • Foster a culture of recognition and appreciation for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant government and labor regulations as well as reporting requirements.

 

Human Resources Business Partner Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or human resources is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources with increasing responsibilities that drive business outcomes.
  • Experience with wage and salary administration and structures.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, HR recordkeeping, regulatory compliance, employee benefit plans, COBRA administration, employee safety and health administration, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation claims.
  • Proven experience and a passion for full-cycle recruiting and sourcing, along with a solid understanding of selection methods and techniques.
  • Proficiency in using job boards and social media to attract talent is required.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills, a results-oriented mindset, teamwork orientation, and a commitment to the highest standards of integrity are required to succeed in this role.
